Virginia Beach Airports

One of the Virginia Beach Airports is Norfolk International Airport ( IATA: ORF ) offers nearly 200 arrivals and departures daily to major cities throughout the United States. Virginia Beach Vacation Resort is about twenty minutes from the airport.

Norfolk International Airport

Airport Shuttle The shuttle service operates between Norfolk International Airport and all Hampton Roads cities--Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk on Southside Hampton Roads--and Williamsburg, Hampton, Newport News, Jamestown and Yorktown on the Virginia Peninsula. Service also available to many other destinations. Airport connection is located outside baggage claim at the booth marked "Airport Connection."

Rental Cars With combined citywide fleets of over 3,000 vehicles, Norfolk International Airport's seven onsite rental car agencies are ready for group or individual needs. The rental car offices are conveniently located in the baggage claim area below the main terminal lobby.

Taxi Cab Services Taxi Cab service is ready and waiting at Norfolk International Airport. Located just outside the baggage claim lobby, they're ready to leave as soon as your luggage is loaded. Service is provided directly to your destination.

    The second of the Virginia Beach Airports is Newport News Airport (IATA:PHF) serves the entire Hampton Roads area, the airport currently does not handle any international flights. The total drive time to Virginia Beach Resort Area is about 45 minutes, but dont worry on your way to Virginia Beach you will scenic Chesapeake Bay, or perhaps you can stay a day or two in Newport News to have fun at Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens Amusement Park.

    Newport News Airport

    The airport is served by various taxi companies, including Orange, Associated, Yellow, and Independent. Also, HRT (Hampton Roads Transit) serves the airport with regional bus service; the airport is on HRT Route 111. Shuttle and Limousine companies also service the airport through pre-arranged appointments. Five car rental agencies can be found at the airport, including Hertz, National, Enterprise and Avis, too.

    Famous historical destinations like Williamburg and Jamsetown Settlement is not too far from the airport. We would recommend that to keep two or three days in your fun vacation trip to visit these destinations.
