First-Landing-State-Park!

First-Landing-State-Park, originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, park is located by the Chesapeake Bay. First-Landing-State-Park is the most visited Virginia state park, is nestled in Virginia Beach.

The 2,888 acre park boasts a wide range of outdoor activites for you and your family. From swimming to hiking, boating, camping, biking, you can even bring your RV!

First Landing State Park The main entrance to the park is off Route 60/Shore Drive. From here you access information center, parking, restrooms, and the bay beach.The information center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 Pm.

The park also provides the overnight facilities, cabins and campsites are available, reserve your cabin

The park offers many various Nature-History Programs that covers beach walks, nature hikes, crabbing and junior rangers.

Some of the events and festivals are PaddleFest, Fall Harvest Festival, Coastal Clean-Up,Clean the Bay Day and March for the Parks.


First State Landing Park Admission fees to the park is $ 4 per passenger vechicle on weekdays and $ 5 of weekends. The park is opened daily, from 8 AM until dusk.

First State Landing ParkPark has campsites with and without electric/water hookups.Fees range from $ 25 to $ 30, pets are also allowed for an additional $ 5 per night charge.

First State Landing ParkAll cabins has the following featrues; kitchen,2 Bedrooms, Living Area, Screened porche, deck, outside grill. Fees range from $ 75 to $ 135, pets are allowed with an additional fee of $ 10 per night.

First State Landing ParkThere are total nine trails about twenty miles long for both biking and hiking, one of the most popular is Bald Cypress Trail. Bikes are avaialable on rent at park's Bay Store.

First State Landing ParkBoth boating and fishing is allowed and are popular from the Narrows located between Broad Bay and Linkhorn Bay. Motorboats can be launched from the boat ramp located at the 64th street in the park's southern area.

First State Landing ParkPark also offers a amphitheater which can be rented for special events.
