Virginia Beach Holiday LightsEvery year the Virginia Beach Boardwalk is decorated with animated nautical and holiday-themed light displays. Over 30 blocks of festive fish, jumping dolphins, and frolicking porpoises, sailboats gently rocking in the wind, and mermaids! Add to this surfing Santas, giant gift-wrapped packages, and a three-story Christmas tree, and it's easy to see why over 300,000 visitors enjoy the Holiday Lights at the Beach each year. One of the highlights is the giant “12 Days of Christmas” display, where some fixtures stand 20 and 30 feet high! A free CD of holiday music is provided to each vehicle entering. There is an entrance fee for all vehicles.
