Three Miles of Oceanfront Fun
Virginia Beach and its famous Virginia Beach Boardwalk offers the classic beach vacation, and maintains a long-standing reputation as a family-friendly oceanfront resort. Visitors are greeted by a 300-foot wide beach lined by its three mile long Boardwalk.
As soon as you arrive at the Virginia Beach, you realize you are on vacation. Immediatley, you will see people surfing at the beach, kids making sand castles and joggers running. Vacationing in Virginia Beach is simply contagious and you will fall in love with this resort area as soon as arrive.
The Boardwalk is made of concrete that is more than 3 miles long. In addition to many hotels with oceanfront rooms and great seafood restaurants, there are upscale shops and street-style vendors, amusement areas, historic museums, an array of sculptures and monuments, a traditional fishing pier, live outdoor entertainment stages and much more.
You will also find on the Boardwalk many running water stations which allows you to rinse off after spending a day at that beach and restrooms so you dont have to run to your hotel room to use the bathroom. If you feeling lazy and not feel like walking, the Boardwalk offers 10 bicycle and blade rentals outlets, just hop on the bicycle and enjoy the panaromic views of the beach.
