Sandbridge-BeachSandbridge-Beach is a family orientated beach located along the coastline at the northern boundary of the Outer Banks. The Atlantic Ocean is to the east and Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is to the west and entrance is located at the northern end. The community consists of primarily vacation cottages available for daily or weekly rent, interspersed with some owner-occupied homes. In addition, the community contains an ecotourism condominium resort as well as two smaller condominium complexes. Sandbridge is known for its somewhat remote location and receives a smaller volume of visitors than the main Virginia Beach resort strip located a few miles to its north. If you looking to spend a vaction in little quiter beach just few miles from main Virginia Beach resort strip, Sandbridge is the right place for you. There are no hotels in Sandbridge but lots of houses and cottages are available for rent.
