Presidents Park Williamsburg is an educational and artistic outdoor museum dedicated to preserving our American heritage. The park features 18-20 foot tall busts of all 43 of our United States Presidents in a relaxed garden setting along a beautifully landscaped pathway. The statues were sculpted by the internationally renowned artist David Adickes.
Due to maginficent 20 feet high busts -- which caused one wag to describe it as "Mt. Rushmore East." Standing as they do in the middle of a garden, they also remind me a bit of those mysterious stone statues on Easter Island.
Self-guided tours explain each president's accomplishments, complete with music from his day. It's a quick refresher course in American history.
The park also features a Museum Center with a cafe, gift shop and a banquet/meeting room. Educational programs, evening programs and themed tours pertaining to presidential history from 1789 to the present are offered.
