Museum offers over 60,000 square feet of gallery space with handcrafted ship models, Civil War ironclad, paintings, rare figureheads and much more.

The Museum’s collection totals approximately 35,000 artifacts, of which approximately one-third are paintings and two-thirds are three-dimensional objects.
The collection of over 600,000 prints and 35,000 maritime artifacts is international in scope and includes miniature handcrafted ship models, maritime paintings, decorative arts, carved figureheads, and working steam engines.

Art of the Sea: The collection spans the 17th cenutry to the late 20th century and includes many maritime artists.
