East Coast Crab SoupVirginia BeachThe East Coast Crab Soup is an open competition among restaurants. This event focuses on seafood, which is the most identifiable cuisine in Virginia Beach and a staple of area menus for decades.
The event starts at noon and ends at 4:00pm, tickets: $7 in advance through Ticketmaster (plus service charges) and $10 at the gate ( if available ) and is limited to 1,500 paying guests.The event has two categories for the best recipe winners, with three places in each category. One category is decided by the general public - each paying guest receives a sheet that is stamped at each restaurant’s station, allowing the opportunity to sample each offering and the other is by the panel of Hampton Roads food critics.
